Northeast Seattle Little League (NESLL) is a charter member of Little League Baseball, Inc. and provides baseball and softball teams for boys and girls ages 5-18 who reside in northeast Seattle. NESLL strictly enforces the residency requirements of Little League Baseball, Inc. - a strict condition of our Charter.

Softball boundary exceptions: NESLL prev iously had a reciprocal registration agreement with Ravenna-University-Greenlake (RUG) Little League to allow girls who live within the RUG boundaries to play on NESLL-sponsored teams. However, that agreement was dissolved prior to the 2008 season, and boundaries between the leagues are now being enforced. Softball players residing withing RUG boundaries must now register with and play in RUG.

Residency Waiver Request - Baseball Only.
Any player who played in NESLL last year, but has moved outside NESLL boundaries, may continue to play in NESLL via a Regulation IId Waiver (download the PDF). The waiver must be approved by the NESLL president and by the District 8 Little League office. Once granted, this waiver is good for the remainder of the player's career in NESLL and need not be requested in subsequent years. However, a player who qualifies under this waiver and does not participate for a season is not eligible to play in NESLL in subsequent years.

If you wish to request this waiver, please e-mail the NESLL president at president@nesll.net.

If you live outside NESLL boundaries and do not qualify for reciprocal enrollment or a boundary waiver, then you will need to enroll with one of our neighbor leagues:

Ravenna-University-Greenlake Little League serves the area north and west of NESLL boundaries.
North Central Little League serves the Greenlake, Fremont and Phinney Ridge neighborhoods.
Seattle Central Little League serves the area north of I-90 to the Ship Canal, and from Elliott Bay to Lake Washington.
Ballard Little League serves the Ballard neighborhood.
