This is the American League baseball registration page for children whose ninth birthday falls between May 1, 2010 and August 31, 2010.
Program Descriptions:
The season for 9-12 year olds starts with player assessments, typically conducted in early February. Managers will draft players in mid-February. Coaches will contact their players during the last week in February regarding practices, which begin in early March.
Games begin in early April, and teams play 2-3 games per week. Games begin at 6:00 p.m. on weeknights and at 9:30 a.m. and later on Saturdays. The division championship games will be held on Saturday, June 13 at View Ridge Park. Players who participate on NESLL All-Star teams (9-10, 11 and 12) must make a significant time commitment in June and July.
American League baseball - Age 9
The American Division is for players who will be 9 years old no later than August 31, 2010. This is the initial competitive league with player assessments, a draft for team placement, scores, league standings, and playoffs. This Division uses a 60-foot diamond, and players pitch using hard baseballs.
Rob McCullough Scholarships are available to players requiring financial assistance. If you will be requesting a scholarship, please complete the registration process. You will be able to request a scholarship as you register. When you reach the payments page simply click the Pay in Person button. Please contact the NESLL registrar registrar@nesll.net or a NESLL board member for more information. Parents of scholarship recipients are requested to volunteer for NESLL functions.
Family Plan: $250 maximum out-of-pocket. If you are registering players whose total combined fees exceed $250, then you qualify for NESLL's Family Plan. Go through the registration process for each player, and when you reach the payment screen, choose the "Pay In Person" option.
